About the Author

Laura Langford Smith is a stay-at-home mom with a background of studies in English, children’s literature, journalism, and creative writing. 

​

Laura has been serving in church children’s ministry for over eleven years in the Nashville area, with four of those years volunteering as the children’s ministry director/teacher for a young international church plant. 

​

She’s been married to her husband, Geoff, for 18 years with a daughter, Molly, (16) and son, Charlie (7). 

 

Laura enjoys arts, crafts, cooking, gardening, sewing, and reading with her children.
